What is Pixie?

Pixie is a fully operational discovery, payment and reward platform that connects independent businesses to people, so they can trade freely, quickly and securely anywhere in the world.

What is PXE?

The PXE token will underpin our growing community of independent businesses and local explorers across the globe by providing a decentralised local currency that allows direct payments and rewards between them.

The challenge / solution

We live in an increasingly globalised world driven by technology, where multinational organisations can operate across borders with little oversight and resistance.

Given the challenges, a holistic solution is needed to allow independent businesses around the world to compete effectively against big brands and online e-commerce sites, and to allow customers to more effectively engage with local business communities.

The vision is for Pixie to become established as a global payment choice for independent businesses and sole traders, and provide a one-stop solution for people to discover, pay, and earn rewards at independent businesses across the globe.

User to Business Transaction

The following diagram illustrates how a transaction is conducted, and where funds are allocated during the transaction:

User chooses to pay from either e-money or Pixie Token Wallet.

Business initiates payment by scanning user QR code.

Depending on settlement settings set by business they will receive sale price in either local Fiat, Pixie Tokens or a combination of both.

User is rewarded in Pixie Tokens as a form of cashback.

User can respend rewards (Pixie Tokens) back in any of Pixie's independents.

With a distinguished career in the UK's Special Forces, followed by a spell in professional rugby, including the honour of captaining the England Rugby Sevens team, Pixie represents Greg's world view and his appreciation of the importance of creating teams capable of delivering at the highest level and in the most testing conditions.

Andy Gray

Principle Blockchain Engineer

With over 20 years experience in developing IT systems, Andy turned his focus to emerging Blockchain technologies to develop decentralised applications (Dapps) with Solidity. Smart contracts, Truffe, and web3Js. Through this technology his desire is to deliver solutions in the modern marketplace.

Brie has eight years project and programme management experience in the tech, retail and public sector in UK & ROI, Asia Pacific and Europe. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

Warren Munson

CFO

Warren has spent over 20 years advising entrepreneurs both while working for an international firm and from 2004 as the founder of his own advisory frm that enables ambitious and driven entrepreneurs to succeed. Since 2016 Warren has been working with Pixie guiding them on the growth journey through to this Token Sale.
